In the early 70’s, the business expanded to manufacturing of industrial gasses and welding electrodes, and marketing of related industrial products. In the early 80’s, it further expanded to chemical trading, hire purchase and leasing services. These activities carried out under several related companies were then grouped under a holding company, Sitt Tatt Bhd, which was subsequently listed in the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1984.

Sitt Tatt Company Sdn Bhd was taken private in 1997. It then began its transformation into a warehousing and logistics service provider, and became a leading 3PL providing total logistics solutions to MNC companies. It built and operated the country’s first modern distribution park in a 17.7 acre land in Bukit Raja, Selangor, and the second distribution park in a 6.6 acre land in Prai, Penang, with a combined built-up area of 600,000 sq ft and storage capacity of 50,000 pallet locations. It also built and managed the country’s first gated industrial park consisting of 8 units of modern industrial buildings in a 5.4 acre land in Bukit Raja, Selangor.

Today, Sitt Tatt is a service provider in storage space solutions. It owns and operates warehousing, refrigerated, climate-controlled and self-storage facilities, and provides ancillary products and services to customers using the facilities.
